Mr. Waters' Classes
Math-
Overview: This week we will be reviewing concepts learned up to this point, and will be having a mid module test covering all of the topics we have been working on to this point.

Be on the lookout for a weekly review that I have been developing. This is not considered homework as we do work on it together in class, but if you would like to see it your student should have it in their folder.  This is a graded assignment worth 10 points (5 bonus points if turned in early), and can really help your child's grade for the 9 weeks.  Please make sure that these are getting done and turned in.  I will be contacting you parents if more than 1 is missing for your child.

Homework: We will have daily practice problems, and they will all be due on Friday.

Science- We are continuing our study of Life Science, more specifically plant cells. We will be having a quiz on plant cells on Friday.  This unit will be very vocabulary intensive and we will be doing a lot of work in our interactive notebooks.  Please make sure that your child has a notebook as soon as possible as almost every day we are adding new information and it can become too much to keep up with if there is nowhere to put what we are doing in class.  We will be doing a lot of hands on activities and utilizing technology throughout our studies.

Mr. Wooden's Classes
Math- Multiplying and dividing by powers of 10 (10, 100, 1000). Converting metric system units. Comparing decimal fractions, rounding decimals.  Review and mid module test.  Daily math homework Monday through Thursday.  Tuesday Lesson 6 Exit Ticket, Friday, mid module test.
Students should correct, and study any low grade exit tickets for a retake Tues-Fri 715-745
