All 5th grade winter parties will be held on Friday December 16, 2016 from 1-2! Hope to see you there.

Mrs. Anderson's Classes
Math - We will continue our study of fractions. We will analyze mixed numbers, improper fractions, modeling fractions, adding and subtracting with like and unlike denominators.  It's extremely important that students become more fluent with their multiplication facts.   There are several multiplication online resources that will help students learn the multiplication facts.

Please encourage your child to practice daily on TenMarks.

Homework - Turn in the next day when assigned.  We will discuss all homework assignments the following day.
Assessments - All assessments are given Thursday or Friday and will cover material covered in class that week.

Reading - This week we will focus on informational reading. We study text structures and continue our word studies. Please encourage your children to put forth their best effort and use the strategies to better understand the material.
