Mr. Waters' Classes
Math- We have finished most of our first module and we will continue working on reviewing all learned material. We will be having our end of Module 1 TEST on Friday, September 30!!!

Homework:  Students will receive a packet of 2 pages front and back on Monday.  It consists of all the work we will be doing this week and it will be due on Friday (or earlier!)
Failing grades can be done over for partial credit.

Be on the lookout for a weekly review. This is not considered homework as we do work on it together in class for morning work, but if you would like to see it your student should have it in their folder.  This is a graded assignment worth 10 points (5 bonus points if turned in early), and can really help your child's grade for the 9 weeks.  Please make sure that these are getting done and turned in.  I will be contacting you parents if more than 1 is missing for your child.  I am beginning to see patterns of this not being turned in so please make sure that your child is getting it turned in on time.

Science- We have an action packed week ahead of us in science.  We are finished with cells and their parts, and now we are into different types of cells and organisms.  Single and Multi-cellular organisms and their structure/ function will be discussed.  We will use the microscopes again to view some of these organisms!  We will be taking our Unit 1 CDA (Common District Assessment) on Friday so please make sure that your child is at school!   Make sure that your child brings their interactive notebook home to study with starting on Wednesday!  Students will also have homework given to them Monday and due to me on Friday.
